Agent Factory Development

Monday, March 30, 2009. Most of the time since the last entry has been spent on a major refactoring effort aimed at reengineering the Run-Time Environment. Specifically, we have moved towards an Interface driven implementation that is more modular than previous implementations. Part of the goal behind this is to support deployments of Agent Factory in component frameworks such as OSGI. Finally, we have introduced a number of additional operators into the language, including a CONTAINS(? The existing vers...

Agent Factory Development: System Monitoring Tool

http://agentfactory.blogspot.com/2008/04/system-monitoring-tool.html

Saturday, April 5, 2008. However, I have stopped work on this tool in the last few days, and returned to a previous problem - the re-implementation of the FIPA-based infrastructure. At this point, I have implemented all of the basic services for an AMS that operates in isolation. Next, I have to implement support for federating multiple AMS in a manner that is robust. Agent Factory Development: Action Scheduler Update

http://agentfactory.blogspot.com/2008/03/action-scheduler-update.html

Wednesday, March 19, 2008. The action scheduler has now been updated to record the completed activities, their duration, and their success or failure. I have used a JTable to provide a view of this information that uses the DefaultTableModel. Based on this, I have also updated the ActionsPanel to use a JTable, but I'm not sure if this is better or worse. Will get some feedback tomorrow. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). An Aside: Goal Suspension. AFAPL2 Inspector - Action Scheduler.

Agent Factory Development: Update on Progress

http://agentfactory.blogspot.com/2008/10/update-on-progress.html

Thursday, October 2, 2008. So, whats been going on since last time. Over the summer, I have been working with Mauro and Dave on linking a component-based infrastructure for Agent Factory in line with the SoSAA abstract architecture. Mauro has provided a light-weight Java-Bean based implementation of a component framework, and myself and Dave have worked on specifying the interface between AF and the underlying component architecture. As part of this work, we reviewed the CARTAGO. It is now recommended th...

Agent Factory Development: April 2008

http://agentfactory.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 11, 2008. Just a quick reminder to myself that I have just spent the last week completing work a new version of Agent Factory (1.2.x) that includes:. Run-time support for ontologies. The new Belief helper class. Configuration of Modules, Actuators and Perceptors. New Target File Format (easier to parse). New Remote Message Agent architecture. New generic debugger and inspector plugin for AFAPL2 and RMA. I have updated the AFAPL2 Programmers Guide to explain how to use the relevant features.
