A Page from My Journal. Ti Blan: Little Foreigner. Being a Christian in Kampala. Jul 20th, 2010 at 3:50 PM. Sorry that my posts have been few and far between. Since those Sunday night incidences, various other bombs have been found but have not detonated. The city has been on edge ever since, and security has increased 100%. Each day, it seems, there is another place where you're bags are checked, there are more policemen in the city, and a person has to wonder what will happen next. I agreed that it was...

http://cabh2o.blogspot.com/2011/09/training.html
Water, Missions, and Me. My blog record as I prepare and participate in water ministry. Friday, September 2, 2011. On a separate note, I had lunch today with a coworker and we discussed XXI Stones. A local non profit that has just started recently. Hopefully, some of what I learn this week will be useful for XXI Stones as they learn and serve both locally and across the world. Water, Missions, and Me: December 2011
http://cabh2o.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Water, Missions, and Me. My blog record as I prepare and participate in water ministry. Monday, December 12, 2011. Quite a bit has happened, slowly. I had a fantastic trip to Houston, TX in September. I joined a group of 15 or 20 (students and team leaders) and was assigned to a team with 4 other people. Not only did we learn a bunch, we had a ton of fun doing it. That is great news! I hope to raise enough money to go on trips with more frequency. Figuring out a trip to go on and when. I think this b...

A Page from My Journal. Ti Blan: Little Foreigner. Mar 30th, 2011 at 12:44 PM. Almost 9 months later.and I still have friends calling and saying- So, how did it go? And I say, Great! How did what go? http://cabh2o.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Water, Missions, and Me. My blog record as I prepare and participate in water ministry. Sunday, June 3, 2012. It has been 6 months since my last post. And the reason why showed his face at the beginning of May when my son was born. Honestly, some things have changed and some have stayed the same. I found out that Living Water trips are generally scheduled a half year in advance for calendar reasons. I also found out that about $1000 of the cost is due up front when you sign up. Water, Missions, and Me: A trip to Michigan
http://cabh2o.blogspot.com/2011/05/trip-to-michigan.html
Water, Missions, and Me. My blog record as I prepare and participate in water ministry. Sunday, May 22, 2011. A trip to Michigan. In September of last fall, I went to check out Living Water International. They will sometimes hold desserts or galas for information and fund raising. As far as I can tell, they put them up on their webpage on a calendar. The one I drove up to was in Holland, Michigan. Holland, MI and Houston, TX seem to be the main places that LWI holds trainings and has offices.

Water, Missions, and Me. My blog record as I prepare and participate in water ministry. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Little hints and big decisions. The blog links I put on the right side of the page are for some of my friends that have made big decisions. Each one is very worthy of a read, and all have left the United States in the past few years. They have also kept me motivated and reminded of the importance of service. From 1999 to 2002 I worked for Reach Ministries. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
