Thursday, December 26, 2013. We stayed in a house in Navarre, FL. We had a good time and made lots of treats! This is a s'mores pie. Yum. There was a sand sculpting festival in town while we were there. I had no idea about sand sculpting, but these people had some serious skills! We went to the Track to ride go karts and also to the Navarre Beach pier. My sister made me jelly fish toast. I did not eat that. :). Friday, April 19, 2013. Back in March, I ran the Poker Run 5k with Lyndsey. She has her act together a little better, and posted about this a while ago. :). This was pretty much the worst 5k I have ever run since I have actually been running. I think I was around 35ish minutes but honestly I didn't really care about the time, because I was just so glad to be done! Sunday, October 28, 2012. The first "fall" activity that I did was go to the Arkansas State Fair! I really didn't want to go, but my mom wanted to see Kansas. Obviously calorie counting was thrown out the window on fair day. First up was dinner- loaded cheese fries. Delicious. Look at all the grease. ha! Then for dinner- a Red Velvet Funnel Cake. I ran the half marathon. This was my second half. I am taking a break from distance running for a little while to let my body have a break! Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Today I am thankful that my dad and brother cut down a big, ugly, dead tree in my back yard. I was planning to pay someone to come cut it down, but my brother and dad came over today while I was at work and took care of it. I appreciate saving that extra money! I was nervous about them doing it because this particular tree was surrounded on three sides with a power line, my house, and my deck. Luckily nobody was injured and nothing got broken! Anybody need some firewood?

Friday, December 27, 2013. Halloween and Soaring Wings. This year I had a hard time coming up with a good Halloween costume. I loved my costume last year (Honey Boo Boo) so much that I was having trouble thinking of something to top it. She is my first reptile and so I am not so used to feeding live insects to animals. We got crickets for her to eat and its been kind of funny, yet a hassle. Lucy prefers the crickets over Navi!
