Mike likes to hike. You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So… get on your way! February 24, 2014. This is from a day hike I did in the beginning of February. I decided to hike out to see Big Tree in the Sipsey Wilderness. Big Tree is located in East Bee Canyon. It’s a nice little 8 mile day hike that is pretty easy terrain. View of Big Tree from the top of the canyon. There’s also 2 waterfalls in the canyon. Some people come by horse. The way out is an old access road.

If your pack is too heavy, you may end up dropping out early on the trail or realize that you wasted a lot of money on useless gear (because let me tell you, gear is not cheap! As a pair, we’ll be sharing some of our gear, so I’ll start from there and then move on to our individual gear lists. We’ll evenly divide up these items between us, depending on weight and space.
