Sweet Distraction: Those 3 little words
http://sweetdistraction-jessica.blogspot.com/2011/03/those-3-little-words.html
Sunday, March 27, 2011. Those 3 little words. It's as if we grow up knowing that the three most powerful, most beautiful, most expressive words are "I love you." When I was younger, I stumbled across my mom's journal from her junior year of college. The ONLY entry in the entire thing was, "Last night, Brian said those three words that every girl longs to hear." I didn't have to ask, "What. Those words, Mom? How many of us grew up fighting with our siblings? Of the time, we said it reluctantly. Here's the...

http://sweetdistraction-jessica.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 22, 2011. Contrary to the title or what you may perceive from a title like that, I am not venting or going to be negative in this post. (However, some of you may hate me at the end of it.). This past week, we have pretty consistently seen this little guy - in front of our temperature. On Wednesday, I was mailing a package to Dan and it was -2 at 8:30 in the morning. For the last four mornings, it's been at least that temperature or lower. Sunday, January 16, 2011. To be an apostle of Ch...

The Tot Spot: We Are, Joe Paterno
http://spottot.blogspot.com/2011/11/we-are-joe-paterno.html
Thursday, November 10, 2011. We Are, Joe Paterno. The tradition starts with the chant. We are, Penn State. It didn't start at Marshall. It was 1947/8 and Penn State was playing in the Cotton Bowl. The opposing team didn't want to play againt blacks and the Penn State response was, 'We are, Penn State.' They stick together and stand up for what is right. Penn State has the program it does because of Joe Paterno. I just hope that those that wanted him gone remember that. He deserves more and better...Blond...

The Tot Spot: May 2010
http://spottot.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 30, 2010. My parents and I headed to Dubuque to visit my bro yesterday. On the way there we had a slight delay. A plastic panel underneath the car decided it was time to fall half way off and drag on the ground. We spent an hour in the middle of no where Iowa trying to get it back on. I pulled a sweet McGyver minus the duct tape. Bungy cords are the best! During that time, we saw a kid go through a sobriety test and he got to ride away with the Sheriff. Saturday, May 15, 2010. Ended up at a n...

Saturday, December 20, 2008. Woe on Unrepentant Cities. Frankly, most of the people that came to see Jesus, came to see His miracles. The unfortunate part was that they, generally, ignored His message and didn't repent. Jesus then began to denounce the cities in which most of the miracles had been performed. 1 Even, if you are not familiar with the location or the stories associated with Korazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum, what is one thing that these cities had in common? Are these "unrepentant cities?

Friday, September 3, 2010. The Compassion of God. 1 How do you define compassion? Who is a good example of someone who shows compassion?
