Saturday, December 15, 2007. This gothic style church is in downtown New Bern. It is very large and somewhat forboding. For some odd reason, the front entrance brings to mind the Spanish Inquisition! LOL I guess for me it's the heavy architecture. I had to go across the street and to the back of an alley to get this picture and I still couldn't get it all in there. You know I love history! There is no defining line between the two. I grinned to myself when I saw it, thinking.oh yeah! I have to say, I've ...

They haven't been off his feet since he got them. :). I think he has the baseball stance down pretty well.:). Wednesday, May 16, 2007. This is...

Monday, May 5, 2008. This is my climbing rose, blooming so pretty. Willie cut it down to the ground last summer and I wasn't sure it would live (he almost didn't) but it is just beautiful on my deck. This is one of our palm trees, and it is already blooming, seems kinda early to me. Another palm, look at all the blooms it has on it. Your yard always look so great! You truly have a talent! Granny Blogger: How does your garden grow?
http://grannyblogger.blogspot.com/2008/05/how-does-your-garden-grow.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2008. How does your garden grow? I planted my frist garden April 15th and I am so proud of myself I wanted to show it off to the world. I made a trip to Lowes and bought a few boards and put this little 1o by 12 box together. Then I put one scoop of top soil from LCR in the little box and put down the weed block, and just look what happened. I have two yellow squash plants and one green squash, three tomato plants, three bush cumcumbers, three bell pepper and pole beans in the middle.
