The Texas Department of Public Safety brought in over 32 pounds of marijuana in a Sunday Interstate 40 traffic stop. Shortly after 4 pm, a trooper stopped a 2006 Ford F-150 for a traffic violation on Interstate 40 eastbound near Conway. A man was killed and a woman was injured in a crash that occurred after the driver attempted to avoid hitting a horse Thursday night in Moore County, the Department of Public Safety said. At 9:43 pm, a 2000 Ford F-350 was traveling south on Farm-to-Market Road 1060 at a high speed when the driver, Kole David Gray, 24, of Sunray, came upon a horse in the road, DPS said. A woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash Friday evening on Interstate 40 after her vehicle rolled several times down a north embankment. At 5:07 pm, Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the crash in Gray County about three miles east of McLean. She drove off the road and into the center median, then attempted to correct her vehicle but could not gain control, the DPS said.
