This is an overview of our house extension and new garage which started in early September 2009. This 26 week project ran until the end of April 2010 and, allowing for 4 weeks of weather hold-ups, it finished on time; this included the laying of the entire paved patio, paths, and driveway, which was not originally taken into consideration. The House Extension and New Garage. Thursday, 29 April 2010. Building Project - Wk 31 and The End. On Monday Gary tiled the kitchen walls between the work sufaces and the upper cupboards and. On Tuesday he did the grouting to finish the job to give this wonderful final appearance. James was back from his volcano extended holiday, and the second pair of gate posts rose rapidly. On Tuesday all was done, and a final brushing of the cement saw the job completed with a topping off on both pairs of gate posts.

The House Extension and New Garage. Thursday, 29 October 2009. Building Project - Wk 8 Day 4. This is the first garage wall corner to be topped off with the same detail as on the house. When up on the scaffolding deck, this is the view down the 'loft' of the garage before the front upper wall is built. By the end of Thursday the back upper wall was in place.
