Laquo; Siem Reap, Angkor Wat & New Friends- Part 2. Cambodia- My Days Are Numbered. July 16, 2013. It was just what I needed on my sleepy Monday! It took them one week to finish, and then we put all of their essays on a big, simplified, world map that we created. It was great to get them a little bit more interested in travel, as many of them don’t even really consider leaving Cambodia! On Wednesday, a few of the other volunteers and I walked to the Olympic stadium to see the daily aerobics session!

While these children’s taxing past may be saddening to some, I find it incredibly inspiring that despite their struggles, receiving an education has remained important to them.
