http://grannyland.blogspot.com/2008/11/another-one.html
Crocheting, Knitting, and other Granny stuff. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. I'm fighting the urge to type "woohoo". I read back over my last couple of blogs, and apparently that's my favorite way to start 'em! It kinda makes me feel excited.haha.anyway, here's another bracelet I made. The pearls are looking a little funny in this picture because I forgot to make sure the left side was behaving.see, the line is supposed to follow the curve of the petals but somehow they didn't! Love Ya, Heather.

Granny Land: Happy Birthday!!
http://grannyland.blogspot.com/2008/10/happy-birthday.html
Crocheting, Knitting, and other Granny stuff. Sunday, October 26, 2008. I baked a cake for my Hunny's birthday. I think it turned out quite well, if I do say so myself. It was vanilla with chocolate frosting. Baking a cake might not sound so difficult, but you'd be surprised what kind of adventures I can have in a kitchen! I don't have a cake tray or whatever they're called, so I had to improvise with a large plate turned upside-down. Anyway, here's some pictures of my creation! I'm Not Really a Granny.

Granny Land: March 2009
http://grannyland.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Crocheting, Knitting, and other Granny stuff. Sunday, March 29, 2009. So, a couple of my friends have been having this "cupcake war," which I believe has been going on for some months, now. The whole story's pretty long, so I suggest you take a look at their video documentation of it: the beginning. Which tells the story much better than I could. (They're also pretty funny! So I decided to bake some myself. Not only were they yummy, but they turned out beautifully, as well! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Granny Land: January 2009
http://grannyland.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Crocheting, Knitting, and other Granny stuff. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. I found a new hat pattern that I loooove. I made one for myself and my sisters! And my brother, too, but I'm not sure if he'll actually wear it, haha. Anyway, here's a picture of the variation I made. (That's little sister looking oh-so-excited to be my model/guinea pig) I named the hat La Sonrisa - Smile. It's too colorful and happy-looking to be named anything else! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Granny Land: Guilty
http://grannyland.blogspot.com/2008/10/guilty.html
Crocheting, Knitting, and other Granny stuff. Thursday, October 23, 2008. I make fun of people who are obsessed with their animals. But now I have been forced to admit to myself that I am guilty. When I came across this picture of a hand-made Chihuahua sweater on Crochetville, I found myself imagining how I could make one for my own dog. He's a little bit bigger than this guy, though. And a lot cuter, too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm Not Really a Granny. These are a few of my favorite things.

The designer is CircularAccessories. There are quite a few others on her shop that I adore, but I need to get some sleep for now. Just keep this stuff in mind, Christmas is on it's way! Granny Land: Yay for Bracelets!
http://grannyland.blogspot.com/2008/11/yay-for-bracelets.html
Crocheting, Knitting, and other Granny stuff. Monday, November 3, 2008. I finished this pretty Swirly Bracelet. A night or two ago. It took a little longer than planned because I ran into a few snafus along the way. But as you can see, all is well. I plan to do a few more in different colors if this one does well on Etsy. It's about an inch wide and fits about a 6" wrist. I actually posted a pic of it on my own wrist on Etsy, but I'll leave that out here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
