Thoughts and adventures in becoming a mother. Marshmallows, “Cully”, and the Number 2. May 29, 2012. Daisy is only going to be 18 months old for a few more days and I wanted to take the time to write down some of her idiosyncrasies. It seems like she’s coming up with something new everyday and I wish I could freeze time and capture every minute. Cryogenic freezing being expensive and limited to Star Trek episodes, I’m forced to capture moments in pictures and words. Working hard on her water color picture.

Not the awful, sore throat, fever, low energy, up all night coughing type of cold that makes you just want to cry right along with them, but an annoying little bug that mostly just makes her nose run. She seems to feel fine, and eat fine, and sleep fine, but she just has this whitish goopy nose that keeps on giving. Thoughts and adventures in becoming a mother. July 10, 2011. There is nothing better than fresh blueberries, unless of course you mix them with honey and butter and eat them on warm bread. Last week I took my brother and sister and Daisy to South Carolina to pick some of the most delicious blueberries I have ever eaten. It took an hour and a half of driving through traffic jams and rain storms to get there, but it was definitely worth it in the end. Posing for a pic in the blueberry field :). July 2, 2011.
