Agua Viva Evangelical School. In the year 2000, our school was established to serve the needs of the children of Agua Viva. Classes were held at the home, using whatever space was available. At that time, we had a total of 59 students from kindergarten through sixth grade enrolled. In 2005, construction began on our current scho ol. The budget to educate our 245 students in 2012 is $87,900, which works out to about one dollar per day per student, an excellent investment in the future of Guatemala. Tu...

We have many opportunities available for those who are led by God to work and minister to the children of Agua Viva. Short-term missionary positions include teachers, team hosts, and other opportunities to minister as the Lord provides. We can use teachers in our school - specifically those who can teach English as a Second Language, science and computer. Teachers serve from January through October and are provided room and board. Funds for other expenses are raised by the missionary teacher.

Every year my family and I go to Crossroads Village. In Flint, MI to celebrate Christmas and enjoy the lights. Crossroads is a blast from the past; the entire village is from the 1800's, complete with a steam locomotive and an opera house with shows.
