Intro to Culturally Diverse Literature. Thursday, November 4, 2010. November 7, 2010 at 9:09 AM. I also think the Westboro church group was out of control. I believe in freedom of speech but I am also torn because what they are doing is wrong. I agree with you that the Heterosexual quiz was interesting. The questions seemed ridiculous to me and it made me realize asking homosexual people those questions isnt right either. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Zack's English 248 Blog.

Friday, September 10, 2010. September 12, 2010 at 3:15 PM. I agree with you about the way their son died. It was so violent the way the other children died, the Nazis were really monsters. If I was her I probably would have drank the poison a long time ago. September 12, 2010 at 5:35 PM. In addition to Caras comment, the Nazis were truely monsters. Hitler was the worse though. How could you murder all of these innocent people! Im acutally surprised that Anja didnt commit suicide earlier than what she did.

Friday, October 15, 2010. From the novels read in this unit, Monster. Which deal with cultural identity, race and white privilege, there are many connections seen. The most obvious one is the power of white privilege and how the blacks are seen as bad or criminals and that they are inferior to whites. Stereotypes are seen within both novels as well. Zane Pinchback, also known as Incognegro. Zane Pinchback pretends that he’s white which can be seen as creating a controversial conversation. Many ...It goes...

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Hi I'm Nicole and I am a sophmore at Ship this year! By Jodi Picoult. I was interested in this book because I had heard from a friend that it was about a school shooting and since I am an Elementary Education major, it caught my attention. Thursday, November 4, 2010. They are people just the same. November 4, 2010 at 4:11 PM. I agree with the things you said about the Westboro Church. The biggest thing I think they shouldnt have done was try to force their beliefs on everyone else. You can say what you think is right, but when you start forcing it down others throats, then it becomes a huge problem! They really had no respect for others and anyone who was different in any way. Intro to Culturally Diverse Literature. Saturday, September 18, 2010. Friday, September 10, 2010. While I was reading Maus I, I noticed Vladik's relationship with all of the other characters in the novel. One that was really puzzling was his relationship with Mala. If they don't get along why are they together? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Zack's English 248 Blog. Hymns from the Hummingbird. View my complete profile. Awesome Inc. template. He truly is one of the most complex characters in the book. I agree that his job truly makes him miserable, but he realizes that someone has to do it. I feel like the colors provide a distraction from his gloomy work. I also agree that he is not the reason we die, just the messenger. September 19, 2010 at 6:07 PM.

Intro to Culturally Diverse Literature. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. I'm Taylor Jenkins and I am a sophomore this year. My major is pre-k to 4th grade. I am planning on being an elementary teacher. I like to play softball but I haven't had the chance to in several years. I am interested in meeting new friends in this class, not so much the work we'll have to do! The last book I read was Yoga For People Who Cant Be Bothered To Do It. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Zack's English 248 Blog.
