a handful of hope: Beaded crochet necklace
http://ahandfulofhope.blogspot.com/2014/04/beaded-crochet-necklace.html
Monday, 21 April 2014. I made this necklace for my mum for Mothering Sunday a few weeks a go and thought I'd share it here too. I used a beautiful, sparkly embroidery thread made by anchor that I bought ages ago with no real purpose because it was so pretty. I went back and forth between the button and the loop to create separate beaded strands. I really like the finished necklace and I think my mum does too. a handful of hope: Male Cheerleaders; childhood experiences of crossdressing
http://ahandfulofhope.blogspot.com/2013/08/male-cheerleaders-childhood-experiences.html
Thursday, 1 August 2013. Male Cheerleaders; childhood experiences of crossdressing. This troupe of mostly male cheerleaders are the Billerettes. They've been a traditional feature of every local carnival and parade I've been to since I was a wee thing. They march in the parades, dance around and raise a lot of money for local charities. I love them a lot, they're bright, jolly, campy fun which is one of my favourite combinations. 2 August 2013 at 08:40. Justpootling.blogspot.co.uk. 2 August 2013 at 11:12.

Sunday, 17 August 2014. It's been a very long time since I've written anything here, there are several things I'd like to share but as I've just competed in a triathlon today I'm fairly weary so here are some oddments from the last few weeks. Bonus picture of my tri team after we'd finished and got our medals! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. I'm Helen, I live in the UK. I love travelling and having fun adventures. A Handful of Herbs
A Handful of Herbs. Welcome to the story of Herbie. This blog is set up to remind me and tell others about the fun and frolics I've had with my 4 legged friend since I bought him on 30th January 2004. Saturday, October 25, 2008. A little while later. And I’m not entirely sure what is going on in my head, but I don’t expect that I should be able to understand it either. I lost my boy one month ago tomorrow and it feels like a thousand years because my life has changed so much. The beautiful flowers, c...
Handful of Honey
Kinda Sorta Somewhat NEW. Sunday, April 19, 2015. I do not know what the future holds. I do not know how this will play out. I do know this lifestyle brought us much closer together, improved the intimacy, and the passion I felt I had not felt in a very long time. I won’t say those things are gone they are just in a secret hiding place that I can’t seem to find. It makes me wonder for those that have tried without success to get their partner on board. Is it harder to start stop and repeat? My neighbor f...
a handful of hope
Monday, 8 September 2014. I took all these pictures in June at Manchester Mega Mela, as I didn't get around to sharing anything at all in June I thought I'd show these now. I really like any sort of community celebrations, Melas in particular are a favourite of mine. There's music and dancing and lots of great food, bright decorations, crafts and celebrations of local groups. All the essentials for a great day out. Sunday, 17 August 2014. Saturday, 5 July 2014. Le Tour de France, Yorkshire edition. I've ...

A Handful of Insight
A Handful of Insight. My training in hands – thus far. My hand analysis training. January 5, 2012. Here are the details:. Richard Unger – Life Prints. I started with his book years ago when it first came out but couldn’t make any sense of it as my fingerprints (like so many others) are not at all straightforward. So I toodled around with it until one day, while doing my usual internet thing, I found …. Kay Packard – the founder of American Academy of Hand Analysis. That is, if I pass :). It’s been ...

A Handful of Leaves. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Please go to here. To view my latest posts. Tuesday, January 2, 2007.
