A HAPPY NICE DAY. Weekend baking - Chestnut Cookie Sandwiches Dipped in Chocolate. I'm definitely not a baker. But my husband loves this kind of cookies. In Portugal they are called Húngaros (Hungarians) and are usually filled with strawberry jam. This chestnut variation seemed so delicious that I took a leap of faith and dove right in. I will not lie to you, it will take some time. But come on, who can't find some time for baking during an autumn weekend? It's the perfect program! Send me one or two!

A HAPPY NICE DAY. Many of you asked for the recipe for this cake and I like to keep my friends happy. :). Let me just warn you that this recipe is all about cheating, but the good kind of cheating, trust me. There's no oven or cream cheese involved, nor any storebought jam. It might not be the real deal but it's amazingly tasty and satisfying. Strawberry and raspberry No-bake Cheesecake. 2 cups digestive biscuits. 2 packs mascarpone cheese. 3 tablespoons of milk. 1/2 lemon or 1 lime (zest and juice).

We just need to be there in the moment, no second intentions, no undermining each other, no judgment. Be kind to one another. This is my commitment to myself and to my family this year. I will give myself a break but letting go of negative thoughts and especially other people's judgment, I will try to practice kindness and be present for the people I love. Thursday, November 20, 2014. Week 5 - 6. It was a pretty lazy week at home but we did get out a couple of times. Indigo and I went to Nina's house midweek. Ed, Katharina, Katie, Sharleen, and Karl also all stopped by at some point. We were there for almost 5 hours! We love those friends so much!
