I moved from upstate NY to the mountains of KY July 2009 starting a new job - updates below. Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Arrived Wednesday, May 19 th. She is a blessing and I love her soooo. Here are some of my favorite pictures from my visits. And her parents Doug and Catherine. Daddy stripping her down to help wake her up to nurse. She was jaundice so she and mom stayed an extra day in the hospital but came home during my visit. It was so hard to leave her -. Second visit June 19 - One month old!

I moved from upstate NY to the mountains of KY July 2009 starting a new job - updates below. Sunday, October 25, 2009. I have been working on the 2010 Mission budget for a while, learning lots with a few longer days. Friday was a rainy day but cleared and warmed in the evening - I treated myself to a nice dinner in Manchester of steak, tilapia. And shrimp at Starwood. The lodge where we ate a buffet. This was our view from our dinner table from Pine Mountain - looking in the direction of Frakes.

I moved from upstate NY to the mountains of KY July 2009 starting a new job - updates below. Sunday, April 3, 2011. Today I traveled the Red River Gorge Scenic Byway with Hailey. Hailey is a long term volunteer at Red Bird Mission that is working as a crew leader at work camp for the summer. We stopped to take pictures of this walking bridge. Next we stopped at Natural Bridge State Park. Natural Bridge is a sandstone rock bridge that is 65 feet high and 78 feet wide. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I moved from upstate NY to the mountains of KY July 2009 starting a new job - updates below. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Wed, April 28 I flew to St Louis for a training day and to help with the RBM. Booth at the UMW. Assembly but first things first - I attended a Cardinals / Braves evening game with a friend from the mission. Had a great St Louis barbecue. Hot dog dinner and watched a fun game that the Cardinals won 6 to 0 - it was so fun to watch a major league game! May 21, 2010 at 3:59 PM.

I moved from upstate NY to the mountains of KY July 2009 starting a new job - updates below. Monday, May 10, 2010. KY Bourbon with Mom and Dad. Dad has long enjoyed Wild Turkey bourbon and has a couple of turkey decanters in his collections. We enjoyed the tour in Lawrenceburg. The warehouses that hold the barrels for years were huge and many of them. If you have dairy or beef cattle in this area you can pick up the "waste" for free. Our guide was good and we learned a lot about bourbon making.

I moved from my apartment to a house on Mon, April 5 th. With the help of a work team that had everything in by 11:30 am. Wed the 7 th. May 15, 2010 at 9:56 AM. I moved from upstate NY to the mountains of KY July 2009 starting a new job - updates below. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Mom, Dad, and I had a very good lunch in this building at Shaker Village. The redbuds were out everywhere we traveled. This building had two of these beautiful staircases. Dad had a nice visit with this gentleman with the oxen. While we waited for our lunch reservation time and for the wagen ride we took after lunch we walked aound enjoying the dogwoods and apple trees in full bloom.
