Monday, April 30, 2012. Today was parent observation day in Syd's tap class. Ethan and I got to watch Syd and her friends shuffle, ball-change and buffalo around the floor. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Finally, Ethan is old enough to play tee-ball! He's been waiting for this ever since he could vocalize that he wanted to play baseball- just like Logan. Who knows how many hundreds of games he's watched his big brother play? At last, it's his turn. On the day of his first game, they needed to be at the field at 5:30. 1:07 and Ethan is dressed and ready to go. The league is actually called fun ball. Each child gets a chance to hit from the tee. Then they run to first base.

You, me and the z. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Grant is my first thumbsucker and I think it is so cute! Whenever I catch him in the act I try to take a picture. These were all taken between March 24th and May 6th (3 to just over 4 months old). Last month when Ben's parents were visiting, we spent an evening at Thanksgiving Point's Tulip Festival. You, me and the z. Sunday, May 26, 2013. They are so boring! Why does everyone want to be a doctor or a dentist? But that didn't happen. Too bad. Three classes worth of kindergarteners. They sang their little hearts out. Back in the classroom. The kids got autograph books and went around getting each other's "signatures". Claire really wanted one of her own. A self portrait :). Paige's kindergarten class had a Valentine's party and since Honey and Papa just got into town for a two week visit, Papa came with me to help out in the classroom, and I got to leave the other kids at home with Honey. Daddy was off in Louisiana for a month of predeployment training. The bags the decorated for collecting valentines. A wild game of musical chairs. Paige's came with one of the valentines she got. Paige with Lily Jo and Izzy from her class.

Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Sydney turned 8 on July 5 and we had a nice family lunch, opened gifts and went to see "Despicable Me: 2." During lunch, we took turns saying what we love about Syd! Mom: Syd is very consistent. She has loved doggies for many years and hasn't changed from turtles to gerbils to bunnies. Oh no!
