Drink a glass of water at least 30 minutes before your meal to fend off hunger and overeating. When eating meat like turkey or ham, skip the skin and cut off any fatty parts. Chew your food thoroughly to get the best digestion and to assimilate the most nutrients. Slow down and enjoy the meal and the company you are with, take pauses between bites.
