A Home For All Seasons

A Home For All Seasons. Monday, January 16, 2012. A Trip To Custom Floors and More! I'm looking forward to seeing how the wood floors look once they are installed in the house. We, again, decided to go with a 5 inch oak plank. This is where is gets interesting. The oak flooring we're going with is hand scraped which gives it kind of an old, beaten up look. This scraping process and staining of it is done by prisoners in South Carolina. Interesting, huh? Sunday, January 15, 2012. DH and I visited the cons...

A Home For All Seasons: December 2009

http://ahomeforallseasons.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

A Home For All Seasons. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Here's wishing a prosperous new year to you all! My prayer tonight is that 2010 brings to you and your family the best life has to offer. May all your wishes and dreams come true! A Little Bit of Christmas. Although all our trees this year were not full size, we did have a total of five! Only two were large - one nine feet tall and one six feet tall. Here I am with the nine footer. And here is my mom standing beside the six footer.

A Home For All Seasons: October 2011

http://ahomeforallseasons.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

A Home For All Seasons. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Are you getting tired of pumpkins yet? Speaking for myself, I am almost there. I must confess, I'm beginning to feel that urge to decorate for Christmas. Before that feeling totally sets in, I thought that I would post a few photos of our front porch. It's been decked out in fall's finest for several weeks now. Wreath, courtesy of Michael's. Sunday, October 2, 2011. Falling For the Season! I really do like the way the two pictures below turned out. I ...

A Home For All Seasons: April 2011

http://ahomeforallseasons.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

A Home For All Seasons. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Today I'm going to show you how I organized the closet in our master bathroom. Again, I must regretfully admit that I neglected to take a "before" photograph. Trust me, however, it was pretty scary. The first thing I did was pull everything off the shelves and onto the floor. I then sorted the "keepers" from some items that had seen better days. After all, do we really need 8 sets of flannel sheets? Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Project 1 - Pantry Organization.

A Home For All Seasons: January 2009

http://ahomeforallseasons.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

A Home For All Seasons. Sunday, January 4, 2009. 160;    Since the Christmas decorations have been taken down, the house is looking a little bare.  I decided to pull out some of my Royal Albert China and display it.  Now if I only had time to dress up some of the other spaces around here.  Tomorrow it's back to school for me! 160;The best I can hope for now is a snow day. Friday, January 2, 2009. Thursday, January 1, 2009. Happy New Year to everyone! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Walk in Lily's Garden.

A Home For All Seasons: January 2010

http://ahomeforallseasons.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

A Home For All Seasons. Sunday, January 10, 2010. Today Hubby and I stayed pretty close to home. The Ravens played the Patriots and won. YEAH! Now we're watching Kurt Warner beat up on the Packers. Again, YEAH! I don't think I ever posted any photos of our wintertime bears. They've been waiting twelve months to come out, and hear they are in all their glory, sitting atop Hubby's computer desk. Hope this shot doesn't make you dizzy. I took it looking down from the upstair balcony. Friday, January 8, 2010.

A Home for All

A Home for All. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. I'm tired. Exhausted. Weeping tears tired. Yes I didn't sleep well last night, (thank you teenage boys who don't sleep, at night anyway) but it's more than that. I'm tired of worrying. About what? Our son. The relationships that he seems so intent on ruining: with me, his father, his siblings. Are we really that bad? Worrying about money. Why is there always more month at the end of the check? Worrying about my health. Worrying others about my health. I have b...
