Gypsy Heart: April 2015
http://www.gypsyheartandsoul.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. This recipe is a repeat and one I made for my son-in-law's birthday. Thought that you might like to try it for Mother's Day! Any Mom, Grandmother, Daughter, Aunt or friend that loves chocolate will love you forever! I tried Ina Garten's Chocolate Cake to die for! Honestly, I love her and this cake. It has butter, buttermilk, sour cream and coffee in it so, besides the chocolate, it has to be good, right? Adapted from Ina Garten. 2/3 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup good cocoa powder.

Gypsy Heart: ~ Georgia Peach Pound Cake ~
http://www.gypsyheartandsoul.com/2015/08/georgia-peach-pound-cake.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Georgia Peach Pound Cake. I made this and shared a few years ago so it's a repeat. Since peaches are available now I was reminded of this cake. Anyway, if you like a great Southern dessert and who doesn't? Try this with fresh peaches. I have used frozen as a substitute and it was very tasty. You could certainly use other fresh fruits. Don't you know that fresh cherries would be divine? Of course, it is NOT low fat, etc. Like Paula Deen, you gotta use that butter and sugar!

I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache after a day of chasing kids (in any color, except purple, which I already have) and arms that don't flap in the breeze, but are strong enough to carry a screaming toddler out of the candy aisle in the grocery store. It will clear my conscience immensely. It would be helpful if you c...

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. I have a huge to-do list.do you? Wanna come over and help me? I think this photo lists the more important things to focus on. I know many are preparing for Easter are we focusing on the real reason for the celebration? Sometimes I think the festivities and the food, decor, Easter egg hunts and having guests overshadows the most holy occasion of Christianity. Pause and remember. Such a relief They always wash my car when I take it in and wow, did it ever need it! I honestly think ...

Gypsy Heart: ~ Bloody Mary Tomato Salad with Quick Pickled Shrimp ~
http://www.gypsyheartandsoul.com/2015/07/bloody-mary-tomato-salad-with-quick.html
Thursday, July 23, 2015. Bloody Mary Tomato Salad with Quick Pickled Shrimp. I believe this recipe is from Southern Living a few years ago. It seems like a lot of steps to prepare it, however, it's easy! Plus, no oven, no stove top to heat the kitchen. Just mixing the dressing and the marinade for the pickled shrimp is fairly quick. I think the slicing and dicing of the veggies takes a bit more time but oh my, is it worth it! Assorted tomatoes, sliced. Firmly packed celery leaves. Spicy Bloody Mary mix.
