Scottish Parliament @ Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. 住在愛丁堡的人應該都知道這個聲名大噪的作品（其間經費的追加讓很多人很不高興！但是據聞經費的追加其中有一部份的原因是新建築在興建的過程中，忽然通過所有重要建築都要可以防爆的法案、因此必須將旁邊的老建築增加這方面的功能。）. 建築師是拿到競圖的西班牙加泰隆尼亞建築師(Catalan architect) Enric Miralles，而在這個作品完成之前就已經過世的消息一直是讓建築人深深感嘆當建築師的辛苦的案例之一。訂閱：文章 (Atom).

Alvar Aalto 在 Jyväskylä 的作品不少，部分的原因是他出生在附近的城市 Kuortane、剛開始執業的時候(1923)也是從這個城市開始。所以在 Jyväskylä 就有一間 Alvar Aalto 博物館，該博物館本身就是 Alvar Aalto 的作品。雖然他在這個城市的作品還蠻不少的，不過我只列出我們探訪過的部分，其他就請見 Alvar Aalto Fundation 的網頁. Defence Corps Building (1926-9) 是他早期的作品，乍看之下很難辨認出是 Aalto 的作品，不過人的創作總是有早期和晚期，所以有不同的風格也是可以理解的。站在正立面前的綠地往右看的話、就可以看到下面這個 City Theatre。 Museum of Central Finland (1956-61)是個冷清的博物館，可能大部分的人看了隔壁的博物館就累了吧！ PS Säynätsalo Town Hall.
