Isaiah 1:17 & Missions. Child Sponsorship – An Invitation. God’s Heart on the Matter. Funding a Mission Trip. Child Sponsorship – An Invitation. How We Got Started. A while back, I started feeling an urge to do more for those living in poverty (especially absolute poverty. But here’s the truth: Not everyone does. In fact, most of our global population doesn’t live a comfortable existence. In recognizing this, we felt led to start sponsoring a child through World Vision. They aren’t eternal. Because ̶...

Here is a list of Canadian Adoption Agencies that I am currently aware of that support adoptive families in their plans to adopt children living with HIV and other medical needs. Be sure to look under “Other Resources” for a list of questions to ask your agency (designed by Project Hopeful) to get a feel for the services, support and resources they are able to offer, both pre and post-adoption. 5) Terre Des Hommes...

Isaiah 1:17 & Missions. Child Sponsorship – An Invitation. God’s Heart on the Matter. Funding a Mission Trip. December 24, 2014. And one thought has stayed with me this season: I’ve never known a world without Jesus. But that before that first Christmas, there was no Jesus, no hope. Just the expectation for a Messiah. The outsiders were outsiders. The parents were just two people about to wed. And the king was unthreatened by a child, busy building his kingdom. A young woman (barely more than a girl) and...

Isaiah 1:17 & Missions. Child Sponsorship – An Invitation. God’s Heart on the Matter. Funding a Mission Trip. This trip radically changed. Those kids turned my world upside-down. As a result of that trip (and a ton of prayer and fasting), we decided that adoption wasn’t just a good idea, but something that we should move forward with. As a result of that trip, my heart for the fatherless has just grown. I think about them, I pray for them, and I want to be a change agent for them. To be His love on earth.

Isaiah 1:17 & Missions. Child Sponsorship – An Invitation. God’s Heart on the Matter. Funding a Mission Trip. And we’re pretty darn excited about it. So why are we adopting? Simply put, we feel called to adopt. In July 2010, God spoke very clearly to me about orphans through Isaiah 1:17. Girl Goes to Africa. I had the opportunity to go to Rwanda and Ethiopia. To visit orphans in the December 2010/January 2011. In a room of two-year-olds, my heart was shattered. Boy and Girl Do A Lot of Praying. But when ...

The ramblings of a Mommy of two. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Finally some layouts from Memories Manor Weekend. I have finally figured out how to crop pictures of my layouts on my computer, so I thought that I would share some of the layouts that I did at Memories Manor. I think I managed to complete 11 layouts - which doesn't seem like nearly enough - but I was busy shopping, eating and meeting new people as well as cropping! N a typical day at work! Proof that I am a . Mom! Saying things like 'Yo' and '...
