September 15, 2011. At most of you know, Samuel turned 5 on the 28th of August, so started school a couple of weeks ago. First Day of School. He’s attending Ahuroa School. Saturday, August 3, 2013. Welcome to Turnwald Whanau Term 3. Currently we are completing our geometry unit that we started last term. We have been learning to identify 2 and 3 dimensional shapes. Learning the language of geometry, (vertices, edges and faces). We have begun exploring angles and how we can describe them (acute, obtuse and right angles) and most lately we have been looking at nets.
