Thursday, December 9, 2010. Tis the Season : Christmas is upon us! This year we decided ( against all I have ever done ) to get an artificial tree . Every year we head to the tree lot but I have always LOVED the white "flocked" trees and have been saving for a pretty one for the last few years. Well, we took the plunge and got a beautiful white tree( and it was super easy with no sticky branches- haha! It is such a snowy beauty in my window and Georgia loved putting up the ornaments this year.

Friday, February 18, 2011. A week of HOORAY! This has been a week of Hooray and yippie as we have cheered our two sweet girls on! Georgia and I spent 4 days in the house last week on "lock down" to get her completely potty trained. Day 1 was challenging. but by day 2 she was feeling pretty cool in her minnie mouse panties and was ready to take on the task! HAPPY to say, she has done #1 and #2 with no accidents in 5 days. We are so proud of her! Georgia like to place STICKERS for her Victory!

Under the Apple Tree's Boughs. A place for me to share my writing and art. June 10, 2012. Dappled sunlight filters down through the fingers of gnarled old trees. Surrounded by nothing but bramble and bush. Calling out for a guiding hand on skinned and scratched knees. Not a sound answers back,. Everything down to the fallen leaves appear muted,. The shades are steep here, covering everything in quiet melancholy. All of the forest life is hidden and silent,. Eyes shut tight, hands clamped over his ears.
