I was fascinated by a story on the news this morning, saying that the Bank of England are seeking ideas for who could feature on the back of bank notes. This opens up a whole realm of ideas – so many choices and so few bank notes. No question I really love the Great British Bake Off, not least because I can persuade/bully my kids into making some of the recipes that are featured. Admittedly they don’t always come out exactly like the show, but often they have a uniqueness that make them fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed the Bagelbuns as I like to call them.
