Aidan's currently in the 7th grade at Big Picture school in Bellevue. While he still loves animals, his current passion is sports, particularly soccer. Players, teams, scores, amazing goals, tournaments - ask him about them all, he knows the stats! He's also participating in a clinical trial for Etiplersen at Seattle Children's Hospital. This requires an infusion of the drug once a week which is laborious, but seems to be helping him retain strength. Here are a few of Aidan's favorite things.

Run/Walk for Aidan - 2014. After many years of gorgeous weather, we finally had some rain for this year's event. While it was annoying for those of us who didn't run or walk, it was probably perfect for the stalwart athletes. And it didn't put a damper on the festivities at all. This year's event raised over $6300 for Aidan's trust. We hope you enjoy the photos from this year's event. ANNUAL RUN-WALKs FOR AIDAN. This annual event was the brainchild of Michelle Weertman whose children ran cross-country for Newport High School when Mindy and Mitch were coaching there. It has become an annual labor of love for many of the Newport parents of that "running era," supported by many friends from other area high schools, as well as area businesses.
