We have reached a milestone since Robbies surgeries, that being 6 months post op with no complications. The ear looks great and his hearing is good. I feel like I can breathe my sigh of relief now and just continue to move forward. He had an ENT appointment yesterday and besides some wax build up which was expected everything looked great. Mosquito bite didnt do any damage and as a precaution Dr Reinisch had me call the local dr to get him on an antibiotic. We are set for surgery #7 in June. This again is devastating news to our family but we will pull together, move on and support Robbie with love and positive vibes. On another note, Robbie is a STAR! Friday, November 04, 2005. Cleaning up helped the itching head somewhat, but now the skin graft on his left ear is itchy. We had an even harder time last night keeping the “hat” on, because he keeps scratching and since the sides are uneven, it doesn’t stay on very well. Thankfully, he was absolutely exhausted last night, so slept pretty well, despite everything. Okay, here are some pics. Here is some advice- some of which I received from people on that board and worked for us- some of which we just discovered on our own:. 1) Bring lots of shirts and jammies that button down and don't have to be pulled over the head. 2) Bring pants/shorts/skirts that have a waist band (not button or zip) so they're easier on the abdomen skin graft. 7) A small stroller, like t...

Friday, March 13, 2009. Last night we went to the Disney on Ice show. Were so kind to give me the opportunity to give the tickets away on the blog and to treat us as well. They had an event for us where they gave us dinner, a chance to meet Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, and gave the boys a Mr. Incredible doll and a Dash mask, in addiiton to tickets to the show.
