Now there are four classes averaging twenty children in each. There was some problems with some of the kids not learning at their potential so they hired two new teachers and me. A Year Unlike Any Other. Saturday, October 13, 2012. In one week, my brain was worked harder than it had to in all of math in high school. So this ment, I was going to get to help. She didnt start until about 630 (it was dark) we didnt have light until about 5 minutes before the babies came. This whole process was interesting, and resulted in me knowing I dont want to give birth in Haiti, plus there are not pain meds. The school on the church property. The president himself. A Year Unlike Any Other. Friday, February 15, 2013. Bon Fet Sen Valanten. I made a valentine and had 500 copies made, gathered crayons and Jen and I brought them over to the school. Although these kinds of things were my favorite in school, I was weary of how they would enjoy the activity. The younger pre- k kids got instructions to color their heart it could be any color, but they had to stay in the lines. The first graders all colored their hearts pink and had green on the outside. Fifth and sixth grade.

A Year Unlike Any Other. Saturday, May 4, 2013. May 1st is the feast day for the Jesus-Mary school, so on Wednesday there was a party at the school. On Tuesday it was supposed to be a normal school day, however that isnt quite what happened. The first part of the day was a mass that was celebrated in the school yard.
