I ask not to see. Learning to say 'one step enough for me'. A Catholic wife and mother living in the North of England. Wednesday, 2 July 2014. Today has been an excellent day. We were so super excited to see the little person I've been growing. Baby was very cooperative and well behaved during the scan and gave mum and dad a jump and a wave. Ever so cute. Introducing baby Fetherston. Due 11th January 2015. Labels: 12 week scan. Tuesday, 1 July 2014. Kidney Stones or morning sickness. Anyway, I've always ...

I ask not to see: Willing sacrifice
http://iasknottosee.blogspot.com/2015/03/willing-sacrifice.html
I ask not to see. Learning to say 'one step enough for me'. A Catholic wife and mother living in the North of England. Friday, 6 March 2015. In reconciliation a few weeks ago I was encouraged by the words of the priest when he told me that as a breastfeeding mother I was imitating Christ on the cross, Giving up myself for my little one. I was touched by the insight because it helped me to understand a little better the idea of Jesus' willing sacrifice. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lead Thou me on!

I ask not to see: Happy Mother's Day to me
http://iasknottosee.blogspot.com/2015/03/happy-mother-day-to-me.html
I ask not to see. Learning to say 'one step enough for me'. A Catholic wife and mother living in the North of England. Sunday, 15 March 2015. Happy Mothers Day to me. As I finished feeding Peter at 5 o'clock this morning and his sleepy face nuzzled down beside me I honestly felt like the luckiest lady ever. Johnny fast asleep on my right smelling like bonfires after sorting out the garden waste yesterday, our super comfy bed, quiet outside. All was right with the world. Thankyou Lord. Lead Thou me on!

I ask not to see. Learning to say 'one step enough for me'. A Catholic wife and mother living in the North of England. Tuesday, 31 March 2015. Things that are different. Peter is nearly twelve weeks old now. Wow. I know I should really record his birth story soon or I'll forget it (my memory is seriously in decline), but today isn't the day. Soon. The west wing. When I was listening to the radio recently and got a little confused when they referred to president Obama instead of president Bartlett I r...

I ask not to see: On feeding and motherhood.

I ask not to see. Learning to say 'one step enough for me'. A Catholic wife and mother living in the North of England. Monday, 29 June 2015. On feeding and motherhood. It's been so long, I'm sorry. I keep intending to sit and write but the chances seem to pass by. Peter is getting big and is ever so wonderful, my life is wonderful. I'm posting a short article that I wrote for the local Catholic paper, it was supposed to be about how having a baby changes your life and affects your faith. Enjoy. The night...

I ask not to see: May 2014

I ask not to see. Learning to say 'one step enough for me'. A Catholic wife and mother living in the North of England. Thursday, 8 May 2014. Yesterday I did a scary thing. One of those big things that you think you want to do but you're not entirely sure, so you put off and off trying to decide whether you should do it or not until you decide you probably won't, and then out of the blue you suddenly decide you will. And you do. Is that just me? If you're having a baby yet? If you want a family? To be fai...
