I Made It Here Safely! The 30 hour trip was long, but smooth! We found an internet cafe down the street, so I'm sitting here now with a pot of tea and journal. I feel crammed with information and emotions, and not even sure where to start. Today was our first day in the orphanage, and the children were so precious. I am ever grateful for the friendships I have cultivated overseas, and I am humbled to be given a new perspective outside of America. I made a decision today. I made the decision to fight. It's been a while since I've updated, and a lot has happened- had friends visit, I turned 21, and Blake had his med school interview. 5 week later I got a phone call from my roommate, "Juli. Whitney's not dead. She's alive! It's something I still can't understand- how did they make the mistake and why would God allow this?
