MATsCrafty: June 2011
http://matscrafty.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Almost every year (I missed last year) my BFF and I head to Stampfest, the rubber-stamp convention in Orlando. The event is a stampers dream. Classes to try new products and techniques followed by two days of shopping til ya drop. or run out of money. which ever happens first. It's always a fun time. This year was quite the adventure. This year's event was held at the Orlando Sun Resort. You can read my review of the hotel here: Orlando Sun Resort Should Be Your LAST Resort.

MATsCrafty: November 2011
http://matscrafty.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 21, 2011. It's Almost Turkey Time! I've seen a lot of talk on the news about the fact that more and more, Thanksgiving is being overshadowed by Christmas. This is mainly because some stores are opting to start their Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving day. This is wrong, in my humble opinion, for two reasons. 1) This move cuts into store employees family time on Thanksgiving day; and 2) Black Friday. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Table For One: September 2014
http://tblfor1.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 22, 2014. Adjust Your Attitude to The Attitude of Gratitude. As I climb up on my soap box. I don't know why this is so hard for some people but listen up. When some one does something for you, the proper response is "Thank you." This is manners 101 people. It's two little words and I PROMISE it wont kill you to say them. There are generally three reasons I can think of for a person to do something for another person (outside of being legally obligated to do so anyway). Sooner or later, ...

Table For One: April 2015
http://tblfor1.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. Spring has arrived at long last here in NC. Along with it comes massive doses of yellow pollen and the yearly invasion of the inch worms but there's warmer weather and blooming flowers and I'll take it. Like I said, I'm being kind to myself this year. I have spent a LOT of time pulling floor staples and scrubbing the grime away. The living room looks great. The dining room flooring is not in as good condition and will eventually get sanded and refinished. Why any one w...Also in t...

Table For One: October 2014
http://tblfor1.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 25, 2014. I know some people are uncomfortable talking about issues (depression, meds, etc.) like this but, I know there are many others out there who go through what I go through. If it helps even one person to know they are not alone in feeling chock-full-o-nuts (one MUST keep a sense of humor) it's worth sharing as far as I am concerned. More recently we headed down to Duluth Georgia for a concert. I have become a huge fan of Volbeat. Today I am trying to push my problems to the back...

Table For One: Wrapping Up 2014
http://tblfor1.blogspot.com/2014/12/wrapping-up-2014.html
Sunday, December 28, 2014. It's the last day of my Christmas vacation and as usual, I have not accomplished nearly as much as I hoped I would during my time off. It always seems to go this way, I start off with the bet of intentions to be productive and I end up with days like yesterday where I take multiple naps instead. Oh well, I guess I needed to rest and recharge my batteries. 2014 has been wonderful in some ways and horrible in others. With Christmas now done, focus shifts to the New Year ahead.

Table For One: I Need Your Prayers
http://tblfor1.blogspot.com/2015/02/i-need-your-prayers.html
Sunday, February 8, 2015. I Need Your Prayers. Today is February the 8th and the current temperature is 64 degrees. The sun is shining, the skies are Carolina blue (perhaps in honor of UNC legend Dean Smith. Who passed away last night. RIP.). And I think it's just about the most beautiful day I've seen in a long time. I hope this is a sign that Punxsutawney Phil was incorrect in predicting six more weeks of winter but the extended forecast seems to be in Phil's side. God hears and answers prayers.
