Darryl Ainsley, Learning Skills. I am a Learning Skills Counsellor and Instructor, primarily based at the Lansdowne campus at Camosun College. To be a student and many, many students struggle because they've not yet learned that. That's where Learning Skills comes in! My primary areas of interest in Learning Skills are self-regulation and self-efficacy: the belief that we can succeed at a certain task. These areas, I believe, are the foundation for becoming a successful student.
