Learning Japanese Autodidact Part 2. Sabtu, 07 Juli 2012. O-IDE word is from a polite preffix O- and IDE. It’s a grade of verb ide’aru which becomes deru (means go out). So, O-IDE means out, same with go out. It’s usually used with polite verb and has all kinds of meaning, such as :. A Iru, but soft. B Iku; kuru. Both of a meaning and b can be used to the second or third person. Example. Anata wa nani o yonde o-ide nasaimasu ka? They have same meaning. Anata wa nani o yonde imasu ka? Please, come again!
