2016 Practicum Student Schedule. Airport Operations Workplace Practicum. The Airport Operations program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) provides students with an opportunity to learn about the airport environment both from an operational perspective and a business perspective through classroom studies and workplace practicums. Two practicum opportunities are provided in the 16-month Airport Operations program, the first in Term 2 (90 hours) and the second in Term 3 (150 hours).
