Our 1958 Airstream Sovereign named Sophia. Saturday, August 13, 2011. A Sweet Soverign little trip. We went back to the campground and walked down to the river to Crayfish Island. Later that evening, we did the KOA wagon ride, Zoe' started the fire, then the kids had the 2100 Candy Hunt by flashlight. Up this morning, Zoe' made bacon and eggs, hooked up and rolled for Sharon Springs, where the farm market and the Beekman Mercantile were on the list of "Things to do". We made it and it was a blast. Our 1958 Airstream Sovereign named Sophia. Thursday, August 23, 2012. It's been WAY too long since my last post on here. Check out our soon to be new to us 2x6 Maple Syrup stainless steel drop tube evaporator, custom made by Bill Mason out of Maine. Awesome work! Our 1958 Airstream Sovereign named Sophia. Thursday, September 02, 2010. The Blue Ridge Parkway's 75th Anniversary. The history of the Blue Ridge Parkway is remarkable! Back in February, I applied to be one of 11 participants to be on display at the Blue Ridge Parkway's 75th Anniversary Festival. Sept 10-12. We were one of the chosen. It's taking place at the Cumberland Knob Recreation Area. Out of 11, I've been told there will be 7 total attending. Should be a great time! Rob and Zoe Baker.

Our 1958 Airstream Sovereign named Sophia. Monday, July 25, 2011. Sweet Hall of Fame 2011. Here's the Sovereign of the Road as it departs the old Hyde Estate in Cooperstown, NY. It was part of a party Friday night for the Chairman's event at the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction weekend. That's the gate house in the backdrop. The Sweet Sovereign sitting above Otsego "Glimmerglass" lake in Cooperstown, here on the old Hyde Estate. Upon pickup on Saturday, Jane presented me with an Old Grand Dad trailer.

Bringing a 1953 Airstream Flying Cloud back to her former glory. Monday, 25 August 2014. 1000 miles this year! The first trip out this year was in April for a friend's 50th in Wiltshire. A 300 mile round trip up the A30, M5 and M4, but she towed like a dream and kept us cosy. We then squeezed in a trip to the Hay Festival in Wales (see previous post) which was another 300 mile round trip.
