A winter adventure – quite by accident! I hope they’re enjoying it as much as we did. The weather at the beach was cold and WINDY! Our one attempt at a campfire during the week – put it out 20 minutes later. So cold that the sand was frozen. Would you believe it was about 25 degrees! Love the soft light against the mountains.

It’s not exactly about a camping experience, but it was a neat enough find that I wanted to include it with our other Airstream memories. I loved the decor! Santa Barbara was beautiful! California poppies are so pretty! I loved all the fun colors!

November 12, 2015. We almost chickened out. We’d planned on camping in a little county park near Corvallis for Dad’s Weekend at OSUbut in the end we decided to go anywayrain or no rain. We bought the bigger airstream just for this reason so we decided to put it to the test! Had a great time! Fun little weekend adventure.
