We learned some new terminologies:. LIKELY - it may happen and probably will. UNLIKELY - it may happen but probably won't. IMPOSSIBLE - It will never happen. CERTAIN - it will definitely happen. AIS Grade 5 Blog. Sunday, 7 June 2015. GO, GO ,GO HEIMDAL. Last week was very exciting as we had both the dance competition and Chrome The Dome. The dance competition was truly breathtaking and it is very difficult to call the winner. I am glad I am not on the voting panel as it would be very difficult to judge. All the teachers and, in particular, the children gave it 100% effort and this manifested itself in the way the children from Grades 1-6 were all fully engaged and enjoyed it thoroughly.

The children in Grade 5 are getting to the end of their student-led inquiries and on Friday, Viktoria delivered her presentation to the class about sustainability issues in her desert biome. AIS Grade 5 Blog. Wednesday, 29 April 2015. The new unit is in full swing. The children were able to work out what the unit was going to be about after the initial zooming-in activity. They each decided which biome they were interested in and wanted to carry out their inquiry on. They started creating 'Trioramas' or a 'Dioramas' to depict animal and plant life in their biomes and also to address problems within their biomes. The children are well into the task and are producing some creative designs.
