Thanks to many generous sponsors from Aitutaki, Rarotonga, New Zealand and Germany, we have been able to purchase a set of ‘Keep Aitutaki Clean’ bins for each of our Aitutaki Schools. Helping to protect our Land, Lagoon and Culture. Aitutaki (otherwise known as Araura or Ututaki) is partly volcanic and partly of atoll origin. The magnificent lagoon (27 miles around) is abundant with colored fish of many varieties, its perimeter sprinkled with many small and charming uninhabited islands (motus). Aitutaki's fertile volcanic soil provide a space for lush tropical native fauna, and an abundance of scrumptious fruit and vegetable plantations.
