We were briefed to create a new retail concept for the largest chain of department stores in Finland, and to pilot the concept in a 3000 m2 space in a new shopping center in Helsinki. The objective was to create a highly commercial concept that would give the Sokos brand a boost and a contemporary look and feel. We were briefed to design an object that would combine the Samuji Seasonal and Classic collections into one lookbook. The subtle and delicate visuality that the Samuji brand represents needed to be turned into something tangible for this catalogue. We created an object that is quietly beautiful, just like the brand it represents. To combine the two collections, we chose to use french binding in the structure for the right quality and brand enhancing look&feel. Concept development, Print design.

The aim was to nourish the Fiskars brand promise to make perfect tools for total kitchen management to bring a touch of orange to everything Fiskars does. Working closely with the Fiskars Design Team, we took the user perspective. How can kitchen tools really help improve the results in the kitchen? And how can even the simplest things be made better and smarter?
