April 24, 2015. 6 weeks comes around so quickly, so that after a good ouple of weeks when we have made the most of the sunshine, next week is all about hospitals. Monday is scan day, wednesday is results day , and all being well Friday is drug day. So a lot of back and forth, blood tests, anxiety and general meso dominated time. In April 2008 I was diagnosed with Mesothelioma and this is about my fight to stay alive. Thursday, 6 October 2011. I am supposed to be going to Germany to see the Prof. on 28th October, but I think I will delay or postpone it until after the chemotherapy finishes for the mesothelioma. I didn’t realise the embolisation stayed in place for two weeks and I don’t want to lessen the effectiveness of the chemotherapy. I will make a decision once I have the final CT scan results.
