A summary of some of the highlights of working overseas and other, more local, adventures! Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Well, here it is, Christmas eve and Janice and I along with her sisters Susan and Linda, along with our niece Sarah are enjoying the pleasures of Hawaii! I have to admit that it could be nicer (it is raining right now) but the coldest it has been since we got here this past Friday is about 18 degrees Celsius. That's enough for now as we are about ready for breakfast!

As I wanted to do some of my consulting work while out at camp I decided to spring for a small solar electric system. Nothing too elaborate with just 3-190 watt solar panels, an inverter, a 300 watt true sine wave inverter, 4-6 volt deep cycle batteries and an auto-transfer switch if and when I wanted to run off the generator.
