An Exhibit of the UC Berkeley Global Urban Humanities Initiative. Global Urban Humanities Site. This is an idiosyncratic exhibit of idiosyncratic maps. We asked for see-through maps that lay bare their point of view an intentionally ambiguous assignment, open to interpretation. I argued that if we asked people to explicitly expose their agendas, to reveal their magic mapping tricks, to wear their hearts on their sleeves, we might get the start of an interesting conversation.
