Cupcakes, Chemistry and Love. Blogging about what makes me SMILE! February 1, 2010. This is the area where I will add recipes relative to blog posts. Stay tuned! 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup yellow cornmeal. 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder. 1/3 cup vegetable oil. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease or lightly spray a 9-inch round pan. Combine all dry ingredients then add the oil, egg and milk and mix well. Pour batter into greased pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. 1/4 cup butter (no substitutes), softened.
