What the buggery is going on?

What the buggery is going on? Sunday, 14 October 2012. I'm not very good at art. I did it at GCSE level, but only got a C, and I've always been a little bit suspicious that there was a sympathy element to that mark. When I look back through my old sketch books, it's obvious that art was not going to be the route I'd follow. Creative? Yes Able to channel that creativity though my arm, into my hand and onto a piece of paper via a brush/pencil/other thing? Hunched little animal lean. Tuesday, 19 June 2012.

What the buggery is going on?: Marathon Man - Part 3

http://ajdurrant.blogspot.com/2012/04/marathon-man-part-3.html

What the buggery is going on? Monday, 2 April 2012. Marathon Man - Part 3. Anyway, I thought now might be a good moment to share with you a few things I've noticed during my time pounding the pavements and towpaths of Surrey. It's like that guy on Friends. Not Tom Selleck; the other one. 3) Hills are horrible. Going up them saps your energy, and coming down them forces your hips to make a beeline for your armpits. Unpleasant. And it turns out roads I've traversed hundreds of times before in a...4) Dogs a...

What the buggery is going on?: March 2011

http://ajdurrant.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

What the buggery is going on? Friday, 25 March 2011. Joy Sad Joy Sad. The clocks go forward this weekend! Summer’s on its way! A sneaky suspicion that the unremitting ruddy bleakness of winter is finally over! And who cares if we technically lose an hour of sleep? It’s a Sunday for Christ’s sake (literally), it’s not like I’ve got to be up for work; I’ll just stay in bed an extra hour! Two of the greatest couples in the world have recently announced that they are expecting! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

What the buggery is going on? Sunday, 4 March 2012. Marathon Man - Part 2. So, following on from where I left off, I entered Autumn 2011 back at square one, but with plenty of time to be ready for the big day. Various things happened over the next few months that gave me a terrible kicking personally, but through it all I managed to keep up the training. I know people joke about it and say "oh, bit of man flu eh? Even now as I write this, over two weeks later, I still feel rotten. Because of the way ...

http://ajdurrant.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

What the buggery is going on? Tuesday, 5 April 2011. Just thought I'd do this quickly. Look at this road sign. I'm assuming anyone who holds a current UK driving license will be aware that this sign signals that you can drive at the National Speed Limit. Therefore, on roads where you see this, the limit is 60mph, or 70mph for dual carriageways. Labels: This goes out to most people driving along Byfleet Road. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The personal blog of A.J.Duric | 2015

The personal blog of A.J.Duric. So while we’re here, let’s make it a place where we break a sweat, where we believe, where we enjoy the. Of succeeding in the places and ways we are fashioned to. Where we don’t have to look over our shoulder because we are too busy doing what we’re good at. Voluntarily keeping our own council because we WANT to. Traveling towards immortal finish lines. We write our book. Overcome our fears. We make friends with ourselves. Writing, the verb. Did not sustain me. Writing wha...

I’m Not Dead. But it has been a while since I posted. In March we dropped off our three foster kids with their mom for the last time. It was bitter sweet. We’d spent thirteen months with them, but we helped a mom put her family back together. We took a small break – my family so earned it – and May 29th welcomed a toddler and a teenager into the family. That makes six kids total now. We spent the summer getting to know each other better. Happy back to school time! Comments : Leave a Comment. But, tonight...
