My goals for 2007 are;. To run at least 2007 kms. As the chart above shows I missed this goal with a huge fade-out at the end of the year. To swim, gym and bike more regularly than in 2006. No problems with the bike, but failed on the swim and the gym. To complete a half marathon in 1:45:00 or less. Successfully achieved at RunToTheG HM, June 17th, official time of 1:43:35. To complete my first marathon. Finished the Melbourne Marathon on October 7th. To complete more races than I did in 2006 (seven).

Sad, depressing and lots of new options to think about. Dr K : Well I do about 200 knee re-con a year and see someone like you every 3-4 years. Me: Wow I must be Special. Dr K: Ummmm what to do, what to do. Me: Just Fix IT. My options that were given to me by my surgeon are as follows. Run Happy Run Well.

I've pretty well given up the elliptical in favour of running. But I really want to increase my running time - I'm going to try add 5 minutes each week. I am getting better - now I'm hitting the heart rate my trainer wants and I've changed the running/walking ratio. Not loving running yet but am feeling better about it. One is March 29th.
