Stuart Roseman, Office365 authentication is broken and insecure

Office365 authentication is broken and insecure. Authentication on Office 365 email services is pretty broken and provides inadvertent account information at the moment. If you try to login via IMAP to outlook.office365.com with an email client using a username and password combination, their reply is based on the existence of the username. They are ignoring the password. They reply with “OK LOGIN completed” if the username exists. They reply with "NO LOGIN failed" if the username does not exist. We have...

When is it time to close your startup and try something new? You are most productive when you can focus. Don’t kid yourself, the hobby startup that you have been pushing along for years, is taking up creative time and effort and money that could be better spent making something, anything else be successful. Please assume that most of your productive time is spent on your day job. Or at least assume your boss thinks that is true. Or more. Some businesses are evergreen. I founded. This is easier to say tha...

Ronn Kliger: Leaping Out. ». Well, that’s it! After 26 years in the corporate world I’ve made the plunge. I’ve left a comfortable, secure, well-paying job for the unknown. I should be questioning whether this is the right move but I’m really not. That must be an indication that it is indeed is the right move or that it…. It’s never too late for a fresh start! Reblogged 3 years ago from ronnkliger. 3 notes • View comments. Firefox 10.0.2 caused the SaneBox. When we figure out what is actually causing this...

In testing some new renewal code on SaneBox, I manually expired my personal SaneBox account which triggered this email. Wow do I get a lot of email and wow would I be doomed if I didn’t have SaneBox running. Probably one of the better reasons for starting a company :-). Posted 1 year ago. This is Bernardo's Blog. WEB/SOCIAL/NEW Media Marketing Consulting. Archive for category Entrepreneurship. Two Analogies on a Tuesday. I read 2 interesting analogies in my RSS feeds today and I thought I’d share them in the form of a small post (I love small posts). They encompass 2 very active topics in my mind lately: the iPad and Entrepreneurship. Here they are:. When people say the iPad is only a over sized iPhone or iPod touch, here’s a rebuttal: Is a sword an over sized knife? I had this post in my...

Out with the Old business in with the New. We will be making http:/ Verifiable.com. Into a read-only service on Aug 1st 2010. And sometime thereafter, I will turn it off. We have moved on to a new project: http:/ SaneBox.com. With 2 clicks we will separate your email into 2 folders: email you have to look at right now and email that can wait. It is what we have all been waiting for all these years of struggling through over loaded Inboxes. And it just works. Go and sign up! The one they should have used ...

Stuart Roseman, RIP Tom Magliozzi car talk guy
http://stuartroseman.com/post/101756274704/rip-tom-magliozzi-car-talk-guy
RIP Tom Magliozzi car talk guy. Tom Magliozzi died yesterday at 77. He was the older brother of the team of Click and Clack, the stars of the NPR radio show “Car Talk”. Here is a pretty good write up about his life: http:/ www.nytimes.com/2014/11/04/business/media/tom-magliozzi-one-half-of-the-jovial-brothers-on-car-talk-dies-at-77.html? I took a couple of things away from this loss. I encourage everyone to read the write up and consider 2 things. Posted 1 year ago. 1 note • View comments.
