There is not a lot to write about today. We didn't do anything amazing other than stay in the hotel room for bonding time with our new daughter. Julie did venture out with some of the other wives to a shopping district in downtown Chongqing which she said was very interesting, but beyond that, we stayed in the hotel and played with our litle girl. During the day, we did get some good pictures of Claire.

Final thoughts on Chongqing: It has a ton of smog.actually all of China does, but it is especially apparent in Chongqing. It has very friendly people. They all are very excited to try out the English that they know on us. Everyday, many people would come up to us and, with very broad smiles, say Hello! September 22: Again.I apologize for not posting yesterday.it is amazing how exhausted we feel at the end of our days.jet lag? Not used to having a baby? Who knows, but we have been going to bed around 9pm each night and feeling like we won't make it until then before we crash. We were able to take a look around the orphanage and see the different rooms. There was a room filled with about 30 cribs that had small girls (about 6 months or less) sleeping in them with their bottles propped up on the blank...

Our first day in Hong Kong:. We actually got a pretty good night sleep, so we feel like we may stay ahead of that jet lag thing. We are staying at the Kowloon Shangri-La, a nice hotel in the middle of the city. We went to a small corner deli for breakfast: a croissant and scrambled eggs and headed out to see Hong Kong. We're On Our Way. Since we were newbies to this type of flying, we spent the first hour just playing with the chair.It lays almost flat down! Look, it has a foot rest! My legs aren't jammed into the back end of the chair in front of me! We did not get much sleep.probably around 3 hours each.but we were not overly sore when we arrived so we deemed the flight a rousing success. And we'll talk to you tomorrow. April and Jeremys Family Blog. Monday, July 15, 2013. So, to put my complainer hat on, today I'm super tired and have been having tons of Braxton-Hicks contractions as well as round ligament pain. OK, enough complaining. I just realized I have only about 9 weeks left of work, then maternity leave starts! That makes me smile. As far as things with Kellen, Summer Camp is about half way over. They went to the De Anza Planetarium last week and he had a blast! Here are a couple pics of the past few weeks.
