This is fun to do. Today I took my kids to the Newseum. I spent all three hours there in the Pulitzer Prize photo gallery. Gazing in awe at the variety of pictures, people and stories. What I took away from it was the confirmation that I do not want to be a photojournalist. I enjoy photojournalism. But I never want to face the conflict and personal turmoil of Kevin Carter. How much can I do in this situation without interfering with journalistic ethics? In going through old film, i found this.
