Thursday, March 6, 2008. You know who is lame? Those kids that promote student elections. They annoy me so much. They tell me to vote for someone I've never heard of, for issues I don't care about (not even acknowledging their lack of ability to change issues), and ruin my peaceful walks in between classes. For those of you with the same problem, I have derived a fool proof method of defusing their campaigning in ten words. Tell them,"If you talk to me, I'm not voting for you.". Monday, February 23, 2009. A new blog post. I added a new friend on facebook today and saw that his blog posts were huge! About ten years younger then my mom, which doesn't bother me at all. He is not yet a citizen in America, but I am eager to welcome him into our family. He is a great cook too! It just barely occurred to me today that I can easily jog on it because it passes less than a half mile from my house. It just barely occurred to me this week that jogging on roads with cars is gross because it smells like exhaust. To completely fix the dents in my car would be $1k, yet my default thought was "how great that my dents are sufficiently minor that the inconvenience of just living with them doesn't even come close to being a $1000 detriment to my life.". Yet, I found it just as easy to think, "How great that my favorite device can be purchased for less than the cost of a crummy-looking dent repair! Perhaps it's the nice weather.
