Tuesday, August 10, 2010. With summer coming to a close and school right around the corner, we have had a couple of really fun weeks to wrap up the summer. Lots of friends have come over to visit us in our new home and it has meant so much to us. The week started off with The Jorgenson's coming out to visit and we forgot to bust out the camera! But the girls had so much fun with their friends from the old hood. I just love seeing how kids interact with one another and they all had such a great time!

Thursday, January 6, 2011. Christmas festivities number 1. There is always so much to see and do on Christmas that is why it must be done in two different posts. I love that this year the girls were super into the holiday as a whole but also excited about the meaning. Hannah is at that age, Leah could still care less, where she understands the meaning of CHRISTmas. She understands the point and the importance behind such a sacred time of year. Sunday, September 9, 2012. Maurina's Sweet 16th Birthday Party. September 8, 2012 was Maurina's 16th birthday party at my house. The theme was Paris France. It was perfectly planned by Cassandra, my daught-in-law. Jeff came over Friday night to put up the lights. Of course, it didn't go as planned (techno difficulties). However plan "B" worked great and the lights went up. We called it a night. I am certainly proud of my family and the many ways they show their love. This was a night to remember.
